I agree. Even though there has been some improvements in our schools diet, they still have not
addressed the main problem of not giving students enough to eat to sustain them for the day.

Before, when I am still studying, my mom used to send me meals with macaroni, bread, chocolate drink
and I have also water and banana. Aside from these foods in my lunch box, she gives me extra money
whenever I have something to buy. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As a teacher I make sure that my child will have a complete meal and I include a multivitamins on
her lunchbox to make sure she will be healthy.

Our school could definitely use some improvement: options are pizza, chicken and french fries, and
they have lots of sugary snacks that everyone buys, like popsicles or rice crispy treats. They
serve fruit, but most people just throw it out, and their idea of salad is a few leaves on lettuce
on a tray. If we're lucky maybe they'll throw in a grape tomato or two. It's a shame really...hey!
You guys have just inspired me- I should totally start a campaign for healthier school food! Thanks
guys!

The food at me school is balanced ..somethimes? We have a salad bar everyday as a option with
varietes of things to choose from like tomatoes, peppers, olives, eggs, peanuts, etc. We also have
fruit. We have diffrent foods like pizza, nuggets, fries or anything that other schools have. The
extras that are there everyday are white catsle burgers, hot pockets, nachos and cake. We also have
about 4-5 vending machines filled with junk.

Hey thanks, your question makes me realize of the food in my school and gives me an idea to
recommend school to make one more stand or ask the canteen in my school to sell more healthy food.
Well so the answer is no. I don't think so. My school sells more food that contains high sugar and
MSG. Which makes me kinda hard to eat because i'm allergic to too much sugar and those stuff. I have
to bring my own food for lunch and snacks. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Break time lunch in school is important because mostly children skip breakfast or do little, break
time lunch is necessary to fulfill calories deficiency. My children like fruit cocktail or juices
during lunch break.

Where I go to school, the lunch is awful. I always bring a lunch, not just because the food tastes
bad, but because I know that it's all so bad for you. It has to be up to standards, but the
standards are extremely low.
