It happens all over the world, in big and in small and it's sad.
Even few trees make a difference, read this article I just found today in the news!
[link="http://openchannel.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/04/26/11402635-a-crime-by-the-highway-poisoning-t
rees-to-make-billboards-easier-to-see"]
Many trees a forest can change the whole climate balance in an area! Here in the South west we are
trying to save the Coronado National Forest from a threatening mining project please sign the
petition in OPPOSITION TO MINING IN THE SANTA RITA MOUNTAINS.

I think we should have an international law (or
convention) on the level of UN defining places and territories which should be reserved and
protected. Nobody (no one organization, government or group) has right to operate in these
territories, which should be natural heritages places around the world (like Amazon forests etc..)
The problem of the protection of the ocean also should be discussed.
Great idea. UN involvement and international cooperation is required. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Very excited for this amazing initiative. I believe this
project can serve both as an inspiration to provoke environmental change and personal action towards
a more sustainable world. It could also prove to be a successful model for development and
preservation for other threatened rain forests-around the world. Keep up the amazing work.
That is true because it converts CO2 into oxygen.

I think DeforestACTION is awesoeme! I've been helping to save the orangutans for 3 years ever since
I visited the orangutans in Borneo. I found out about DeforestACTION's Earthwatchers which I have
become involved with. You can check out my facebook page for orangutans and my website here:

Good work!
I thought the people interested in this would find this video relevant: The World's Rarest Gorilla
Caught on Film in Cameroon.

The Wildlife Conservation Society got this footage. Let's protect species and their natural
habitats!
