May be we can work together!

What's up everyone! My names is Justin, I'm 18 years old and I live in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. I just recently discovered this site and I would really really appreciate some help with a project idea that I've had for a long time. I feel like the way to empower youth and make the world a better place is to educate. I want to build a secondary school (high school) in an under-developed country. I have read somewhere that in under-developed countries the emphasis is usually placed on elementary schools but that there aren't that many high schools for the students to continue on afterwards. I was thinking of creating a youth group, from people all (it doesn't matter where your from), in an attempt to organize and raise funds for this cause. As a team, I'm confident that we would be able to be successful with this. Once we figure out who is wants to be a part of this then we can start to figure out the details and such. If anyone is interested in being a part of this just reply to this post, leaving a link to your profile and other contact information as to how I can reach you and so that each team member can keep in touch. Thank you very much for your support and I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

Iam touched by the gesture you are expressing of building a school for the less previledged. That is what we as youth press and development organisation of Zambia in Africa have been looking forward to.We have various volunteers under the united nations volunteers online though they are facing difficulties in mobilisation of the needed resources to put up a school.
take care

Justin !
Interesting idea, BUT not new... !
Not for the sake of discouraging you or being nasty or arrogant, i would like to ask you first how much reasearch did you do before launching yoursefl into this project?
Do you know if someone does that already? "Locals" in the affected countries ?
First reasearch then assertion then action(if there is a need)!
Believe me countries like Kenya, South Africa, Botswana, Ghana from sub-Saharan continent and others say India, Pakistan etc all have their own public and more and me striving private school systems and in latter case most of schools are being hosted in already existing buildings with parents and other local enterpreuners of children being teachers etc. Just pick-up the last week's economist for example and read a survey on South Africa.
IF i can be of any further help let me know.

Hello Justin Brother!
Warm Regards from Nepal
I am from Nepal having TIG name as subediabhi. I have send you the TIG message also. I am leading an organization here in my home country. I went through your discussion board and find interesting idea about opening a school in third world country.
Nepal is one of the fastest growing metropolitan city in whole south east asia. An average people earns less than a dollar here. The country is sandwiched between India and China. The higest peak Mt. Everest resides in our region. The climate is wonderful.
Being at this position i feel lucky but, there are other thousands of children who are lacking basic education, primary health, shelter, food etc. The government school is very poorely managed and the private schools are much more expensive. No formal or free education has been introduced here in Nepal. Computers, games, extra activities aren't practiced wisely in school.
Nepalese children have dreams to become a doctor, scientist, engeneers, sociologist etc through qualitative education which they wish to achieve through our assistance.
Our only wish is to help these homeless, parentless, abused, street children to get good and qualitative education. I hope we can work in this innovative project.
Your idea is just wondeful.
May be we can also talk online - more about our work in near future. It would be great if you just add me in subediabhi@hotmail.com or peace_cast0@yahoo.com for our online communication. Also you can e-mail me at abhipraya@gmail.com
I will be looking forward to hearing from you and work with you.
Thanking You
Abhipraya Subedi
Kathmandu, Nepal
