youth business

i am involved in a number of initiatives but the business i would love to get into is farming, i have already been hard at work in my different organizations and developing my skills in different innovative areas that would assist me in developing my farm enterprise.
i am also keen in creating avenues for young people to access resources and a major resource lacking among young persons in my island is access to finances. a group of my business friends and colleagues and myself have started to work on developing a youth credit cooperative, it will focus entirely on giving young persons access to credit, small scale in the short run, but who knows how far this can grow. we are just putting the business plan together and have been attending numerous training sessions as we set our business to assist the community's young people.

My advice to those who are wanting to start a business.

Make sure you have a sound business plan in place and add onto it as your business developes.

Good Luck to All!

Starting a business need well directed thinking to start with. Though one should be aware of cash inflow & profits margin. Under current market condition, most of the businesses are not doing too well. So before investing or starting a new business, check out the requirement of the market & then act accordingly. To get best transcription based services that too under affordable rate, visit me on http://www.gmrtranscription.com/

Re: Starting your own business?

Hi,

I have my small plan too! smile

I'm going to start small language school chain somewhere in Canada. I would like to start with one or two schools at the beginning (just 4-5 teachers in each) and then grow. I know my idea my sound silly, and you will tell me that it won't work, but listen to this:
I come from Poland, where there are a lot of language schools (especially English). A few years ago two of my friends set up their own language school and taught English language tgere. Everything seemed to be that the market is already full and will not accept more schools of this type. Then came the big competitor - one of the schools has grown to such an extent that evolved into the entire network. Now they offer franchising in 3 or 4 East European countries (check it by yourself: here), and as far as I know, they're still growing. It's great success, isn't it?

So my idea: There are many Polish people in Canada, who immigrate there for work, but some of them still does not know any language (that's sad). So probably they won't use any other schools tahn Polish one - this is quite good idea.

What do you think? Do you know anything about teaching language market in Canada? Maybe I should change my target?

Best regards
Robert

Why do we need an exit stratergy while planning a business
Apr 29, 2015

Great to here about your new business ideas!
The entrepreneurs start their new venture hoping to expand the empire and dreaming of a global success. But there comes a day in future when the competition fights back and business will experience the steep fall and they fail to get back the money invested. Here comes the importance of exit strategy. This theory is a bit pessimistic. But this would be treated a base for successful plan. Check out the important exit strategy options and their relevance: http://www.kpmg.com/Global/en/IssuesAndInsights/ArticlesPublications/family-business/Pa ges/entrepreneurs-need-exit-strategy.aspx
Have you ever thought of an exit statergy?
