when we display competence, we are viewed as such

Wow, very good question. I am not so sure if youth are given the credit deserved, but I am not so sure that we are yet worthy of credit. (I say this because, dispite it's flaws, I am in love with our global community and I feel that when we {as youth} are given the proper credit, it will be the exact time that we become worthy of it in their precious eyes.)
I am feeling that a main objective of ours should be to raise awareness of the efforts global youth are making. This will cause more youth to get involved(...participate), and it will show others the capabilities that often-times lay dormant in the souls of very capable youth. We need to expect more out of ourselves, the possibilities will blow us all away!
In order to be viewed as competent agents of change we need to *be* competent agents of change... We are *Thee* competent agents!!! We need to learn how to make our voice heard and allow other youth to follow suit. Other members of society won't be able to discount our efforts if the change that we are bringing about is made known and promoted. We also need to strive to make every action pure and sincere. If we seek righteousness in all that we do we can't help but bring about the changes that our world needs.
Much Love to all of you!!
**Please see the 'one world, our world' project if you are interested in raising public awareness as to how our young global community is already changing this planet according to their own standards.**

In my opinion, we matter. Or at least we should. Especially the youth of the world. It is our voices that should be shaping the future of the coming world. We are the future. We will be the cataylist of the new beginning, the outstanding median, and the triumphant in keeping this eternal flame known as hope burning for all eternity until a higher power decides our fate!!! Yes, we count. More than youy probably realize.

Well i think it might not have any immediate impacton change but the truth is that all youth getting invole in activities that brings about a change will definitely bring about the desired impact. since all the youth will be well inform, and will be in position to apply the knowledge acquired during capacity building.
