Searching Peace
September 30, 2004 - 07:20 AM
|
|
In search of quietude and peace
I wondered all where
First i went to the deserted land
and found my inner soul in turmoil and bedlam
I returned to the community of animals
and searched for satisfaction
But i found depression and barbarism
I ran towards the unending sea
and found its waves uneasy and relentless
Impatiently I reached the vally of mankind
the vicegerent of God on earth
I,believing them the super human beings
worshiped them
But suddenly I found in their inner soul
the presence of devil and cruels
It made me nervous and I laughed at my nomadism and
left searching for peace
which was then no where.

Hi Eeman,
I am really touched and well surprised by your text.
well surprised because you know how to express what many people feel but cannot express.
First of all, i want to say to you and to all other readers of my reply that you are not the first one to feel that neither the last.
World is full of youths who saffer the same but nobody cares about them.We have to admit it, we are in the mercy of what television and newspapers report to us,unfortunatelly, they don't report every thing and even if they do, they don't tell us the total and complet reality. What is more miserable is that everybody know who is responsable of this missuse of media but no one is able to say no.
all the world know that children are killed every day and every munit, that millions of innocents are paying for things that they have never done, their uniq mistake is to be from a powerless country or simply not to be chritian or jush.
Nowadays, the world is dominated by the rules of the powerful ones, the others must support descrimination and racism sometimes by their brothers before than their ennemis.
But there still hope in the young generation, in those who believe in our total equality as human beeings and the right of every one to find in this world a little bit of respect, peace and love.
nothing is impossible if we hide prejugements behind and think in a logic way, we will find that life is so short to spend it in war, but also you have Eeman to bare in mind that also life is so nice to lose it in pissimism: such a regret

Dear houaida
thanks for ur praise.
I admitted this poem in order to realize the youths that we all are suffering from barbarism and torture,if not we then there are alot of other innocent youths and childrens who are suffering.
One thing u said that life is short and why should we spend this little time in wars.I do know this and i want all youths to gather and think logically and stop these things.
But our youths by themselves are suffering from other things instead of war.

Think about this:
OUR LIFE IS TOO SHORT FOR PEACE, BUT LONG ENOUGH FOR WAR !
Short life promotes carelessness and lowers sense for eachother. Would be great for people to be able to live much longer, thus value *staying alive* much more.
WHERE IS SCIENCE?

War! A Supersticious Terror

Yes, sad to say, so many are alsohit with so many such situations in the world today and people are really suffering. Well, Man is to blame. I really really sympathize with such persons who have witnessed war. The aftermath of wars are really pitysome. People suffer and even the trauma after war is realy a big menace to Life.
War! if only man could avert wars and never let them take the toll. Wars take millions of lives earthwide and really makes people hopeless, homeless.
I sympathaize with all of you who have witnessed wars.
My Sympathy.

SCIENCE is nowhere to be found

Kaiser, SCIENCE is never a solution to man's problem. Rather science has even been the cause of wars.
Back then, people use local made weapons which could only kill tens or hundreds, but today, science has invented ballistic arsenals which could take the lives of billions are a finger-pin-press.
So science cannot reduce or even stop war, rather it has continued to enhance the death toll. If only man never made iventions of such arsenals, the world would have been a happy place.
Though science has done well for humanity in the provision of amenities and other aids to life; but as it gives man a hope if rated, say 1, it gives man negativity rate 3. Which goes to mean that the bad often superseeds the good in a ratio 3: 1

Lol - but science in mans best friend in giving him way forward from the past to the future.
Its making him more educated, more civilized and less violent.
You have every right to be uneducated if you choose so, but duty for humankind is clear: Always improve, be stronger and live better.

Addition:
Living of today is bad, short life, poverty and such decrease value of life tremendeously, so ppl have no problem wasting their and others people lives for achieving something little.
Improving living, making ppl more rich would raise the stakes and ppl WOULD NOT dare to risk loosing life and
their gains for something little - or big.
Science is here solving party: It can make ppl live longer genetically - all what it takes is to be ALLOWED to do so.

The Point

Dear Eeman,
your simple words reflect the scaring world.
U know your words reminded me by the word “Human” this word in Arabic u can spell it such like that “ENSAN” from this noun u can get its v. “yensa” = “forget” & its adj/ noun “nasyan” = “Forgettable” & there is an Arabic quotation says”that we named by Ensan coz of our continuous nesyan . which means that we hardly remember anything & the most thing we forget is that we all human kind (at the mourning: Hug the same sun:-Good mourning sweetheart. & evening we Kiss the same monn:- Have Nice Dreams baby”.) yeah your words get ---- the point.

i guess there is for us all somewhere but we always look in the wrong places.wars and killings are not for us to experience even though we do.i am touched by what Eeman has to say and truly,i shiver.
One thing i know and believe is that we are made in such a way that,if we look into ourselves,(deeply),we'll find great PEACE.

Addition 2:
We all know that peace is achieved as a RESULT of various actions.
One of such actions would be what i wrote above.
Its always a specific improvement or daring move, that changes everything on the better.
