Media bias
September 25, 2004 - 03:26 AM

Hey guys,

I'm working on a media project and I want to compare the reporting of two Media companies. I was thinking of comparing Fox news with BBC and their views on the Bush/Kerry elections or terrorism or the israeli-palestinian conflict or the war on Iraq.... If anyone has any info regarding the bias reporting of FOX news or BBC or ANY other suggestions could you please pass it on? I would REALLY appreciate it!

Peace

all i coudl suggest is concentrate on the way that they deliberately maipulate what they use in their stories. for example - editing postives and not negative clips to give the story negatvie angles. x

Try reading Naom Chomsky. The exact title eludes me but he has compared the ownership patterns of the media companies across US.BBC,as I understand.is a government organisation. However,it is not impartial and inherent bias does exist. All the best.
