TIG Need another tool for youth! Immediately!!

Dear TIG Member,
Several time I got someone message who like to introduce with me by TIG massenger!
But it's not so interactive as other instant massenger.
So I feel that TIG should introduce complete Instant Massenger as soon as possible. But all message should be moderate to avoid "Love/Frick/irrelated Messaging".
I think this will help us to communicate with each other more frequently and effectively.
Thanks

I do fully agree that TIG should do something about their messengers.
I think they should try and emulate other messengers such as msn and yahoo.
I propose also that a real time chat program should be introduced where members can hold discussions or chat online.
Please consider this!!

I feel that the messenger on TIG is too slow. I takes way too long. By the time you send a message, they are already offline thinking you are no longer there. I hope TIG does strenghen the messenger system so we can better communicate.

Thank you all for your input.
TIG is aware of issues with the messaging system and is considering its options.

Hey TIG members!
You can actually chat online live with other people (assuming that others are there) here: http://www.takingitglobal.org/tsunamichat/
It isn't exactly a direct link to our official chat, but it is a temporaty solution to having access to chat.
THe creation of a chat similar to yahoo or msn would be virtually impossible as it would require new staff and constant development in order to impliment.
As far as getting weird messages over TIG IM, it is impossible to fix as long as they contain words that are not inappropriate (such as saying "hi". We have certain key words that automatically flag messages and hide them from members until they are reviewed.
If you do not wish to receive a message from a certain member, simply click "ignore" at the bottom of the message when they send you one. It's as simple as that! If you flag a message that is not against TIG's policies, then it will be approved again and you will have to read it again
v5 of TIG will also bring some neat new features to try and make TIG IM a nicer client to use.
