Refugee

Being a refuge is a terrible thing. It would have been always best to have avoided the circumstance in the forst place. I feel every refugee harbours the yearning to go back to where he belongs and what he calls his home. But, one that is not possible the host country should take steps to rehabiltate them in the best way possible.

hi
I'll like to commend you for the write up. I'll also like to make some little contributions.
I think the most challenging need of every refugee in their new found environment is love and the ability to being resposible to their relatives' well being. What I know is that there are some countries that their goverment really care for the refugees.
In Nigeria, there some Refugee's camps. In these camps, food and some other necessary materials are being supplied to the refugees by the Goverment and some religious bodies like: churches and mosques.
One other important aspect is that those that live around them should show them love. In this way, life would be easy for them.
Every man has the right to live, so every man should show love to one another at every opportunity.

sometimes we find ourselves in circumstances that we would never have accepted. yet we have to accept them and live with them. some times we find ourselves wishing and hoping but then it dawns that it can not just be. that we can not reverse things, that we can not help ourselves. i have met some refugees and i visted a refuge camp one day on a school outing. it is terrible, if we have to describe it. it is a pity that some of us have to live in such terrible circumstances but we should not loose hope. we hope those helping refugees will do so for the sake of the refugees and not for the sake of helping themselves by gaining through the donations and the grants they receive. but i also hope that the refugees will accept their status and live in their means other than being a source of trouble to their host country by resorting to crime. i hope that our leaders especially politicians who lead to chaos that lead to people seeking refuge in other countries will come to their senses sooner than later. let us do that which we can, where we can not, may we be patient with life in the world.

Hi, My feeling about refugees is that any one of us could have been one or may end up being one. We are born where we are by chance, and even that could change with war and so on. I say, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Life of refugees

hi everyone,
From my experiences with some of Bhutanese refugees here in Nepal, i found that they don't feel secure and they are dominated by the feelings that they are the unfortunate ones . So refugees have been suffering from psychological problems than what we see surfacely as the food and shelter. i think the government and the international community need to understand them and give refugees the moral boost which might prove to be as important as the physical needs.

You should all visit Jordan or Lebanon to see the misery the Palestinian refugees have to live through in the refugee camps. No words can describe what the refugees over there have to deal with.
