where is the way out?

I once came across a girl whom i got talking with. Our discussion somehow digressed to poverty and its effect on the youths and she gave me a true life stor of the effects oef poverty.
Poverty is one problem which seems to be eating deeply into systems. Where is the way out of this problem?

i think poverty could only be stopped if the former colonisers would give their former colonies all the money(or resources) back that they have took in the past! tho this is almost impossible!

Maybe if you could enlighten me on this true life story you are talking about it would help tackle the problem, what do you think?

Matic. At lest resources cnnot be returned. Money can be. But ususally, wont last long, before that money again ends up in hands of the rich ones. (Guns and similar cost).
Send a LIMITED amount of cash and send few well trained experts in various fields, to share knowledge.
It is not enought to give hungry men a fish. Better is to teach him to to catch fish on his own!

As much as I agree with you Kaiser on the lack of durability of monetary (re)payments, I do feel that a lot of previously colonised countries are paying through their nose to service external debt, I think rich counries should prioritise debt forgiveness as a positive show of good faith.

Ok, well i do say that debts are bad, for both parties involved. Borrowing money should be avoided, let it be a last resort. What i say next is, that somebody has to watch over those, that create such policy, and "hit their fingers", if they dare to touch "forbidden candy" e.g. taking a loan. It is not just to have free press, also independent judicial system, which has legal power "to hit fingers"
