?Rare? Beauty Of White Tigers

Most people think that white tigers are a beautiful species. You see them all the time in zoos and circuses, which is why it's so common for people to think it's just another type of tiger. The truth is that they are albinos. Originally, they were really hard to find. But then people took them out of the wild and kept breeding them until they got more albinos. Once they got more, they started forcing the tigers to mate with their brothers and sisters. This inbreeding naturally caused birth defects. Most of the time the babies didn't even end up being albinos, since its a recessive gene. Because of this, the owners made them have more and more cubs, so they could have more and more white tigers. By now, they are so inbred that nearly 80% of them die at birth, and almost all of them have at least minor birth defects. For a more in-depth article on this subject, go to

You can also "adopt" a cat and send in a donation to help pay for its food and medical care, if you wish.
