Get academic credit for field work
July 23, 2004 - 07:13 AM

You sit in class all day, and want to do something in the community. Here is an opportunity to get academic credit for work you can do to address the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). First, get familiar with the MDGs. Then come up with a creative idea for how you (and friends) can help by working in your community, or one nearby. Then talk to your teacher(s) about how to get academic credit for your work (probably by writing a paper on your work). Download the plan from http://www.surveytools.com/academiccredit.doc. Please tell me what you think about this. Are you interested?
