[Poll] “Poverty”
July 21, 2004 - 02:47 AM

is enjoyed by poets/ writers and politicians. Is curse for who experience, and boon as a subject for politicians to promise for vote! And subject of appreciation by public to writers and poets! Many books have been written and many promises made, nevertheless, poverty level has dominated the world. Governments and International Organizations who study and spend exorbitant amount in their research on poverty and things end up in racks with full of files and books on poverty.

Sometimes we don't actually understand who is really poor. we usually think that poverty is restricted to those who are living in the streets, the homeless, and the less priviledged. Oh no, poverty is much broader than this, it's fangs extends much wider to include those counteries that their leaders are trying to turn their countries into international ridicles. The poverty state of most countries especially in Africa really makes one wonder the state of those living there
