Can Music be related to...everything?
July 5, 2004 - 04:38 AM

View my opinion on rap here: http://www.takingitglobal.org/discuss/showthread.html?s=&threadid=8706

It is in my opinion that music has a much larger influence on us than anything else. We dress to what we listen to, as much as we act. Plagues on society being rap, punk, "eatbaby", slipknot, marlylin manson, korn...etc??

Opinons?

Maybe so, BUT, music still has an impact on us. Think about it this way, its not just the music that changes how people act and behave, and how they think or what they do. Take for instance rappers and little kids (elementary/secondary school). They listen to rap and the lyrics talk about killin someone or stuff of that nature (im pretty sure everyone knows what other stuff), and what do they go do, they recite/sing them. Then look at the rappers, and their backgrounds. Some, like 50 cent, DMX, etc. have had less than perfect backgrounds and have been in and out of jail and still commit crimes and when the kids hear about that on the news or radio, or whereever, they want to be like them. So music has a drastic impact on people.
