Cultural Diversity

The first time I came here and see the phrase, I automatically thought of the differences between national cultures. But maybe it's also saying about a smaller area.
Yesterday was my friend's birthday. We both live in one city (Hanoi) but different districts. It was the 1st time I met his friends and somehow felt they r a bit different. Well, the thing is pupils here in my country tended to get into the high school around their home rather than a far one. Let me explain a bit here. About 6-7 years ago, pupils were free to choose the high school they like as long as they could reach the school's requirement. Today the youngster cannot do that, the new policy force them to attend only one of the high school in their district (except some special schools) to avoid the accumulation of pupils' desire in some top schools. I don't think it is good. It's digging a hole from young people from different areas.
In brief, if you are thinking of the whole world, C.D. are between continents or countries. If in a country, it would be regions - North and South, East and West. If in a city, it might be districts. Should we do something about it - Cultural Diversity. Get to know the one right next to you, my friends.

Love to hear more Education in Vietnam, I live with a lovely dear Vietnamese friend, actaully she is the very first Vietnamese I ever met, and through her I do respect Vietnam more and more through her. She is always bothered with the Education system in Vietnam, and how it should be changed? SO, would love if you can tell me more.
Thanks,

I dont know if i understand it well:
So you have a mediumsize city, where like 250.000 ppl live.
There are hmm 8 high schools to choose from, but in this case you have to go to that high school, which is nearer than others ? Or you have to go across town to school, where is still emapty place?
Anyway whole procedure is wrong: Fitting & "adapting" a human being to the existing order is problematic. Better would be to adapr environment to the needs of people - to the optimal extent of course.
Expend the school, which hasn't got enough room, but leave those which are vacant empty - its better more than not enough - for later use. I am certain there is a steady increase in populationin Vietnam.
Thank you for opening this thread - i could once again give out a solution.
