Al Qaeda on the lose...

Given the fact that they are not going to win in any way, they've resorted to claiming innocent lives through the most brutal ways...Paul Johnson Jr.,an aircraft engineer, was captured and taken into captivity for several days and later on beheaded after the US couldn't heed to an ultimatum set by the 'barbaric terrorist group'.Isn't there any way these guys can make their ends meet other than instilling fear in the world's population so as to have their demands met?Such groups don't last long especially with the kind of despair exposed;that actually cost human lives...it's simply unpopularity that's gaining peak.At the moment south Korean national has been taken hostage...awaiting the gallows, too,if the Seoul government doesn't withdraw it's troops from Iraq. The game seems strategic...sickening though.

And now they have captured a US Marine who is a muslim from Lebanon. I really wonder what will ever be accomplished by these murders.

to me whats even more shocking is that now they're dumb enough to try to go after other country's citizens. Maybe they think what happened in Spain can happen again..so far they're wrong.

is the Qaeda just a terrorist organization that works for its own benefit or is it a puppet working for the good of its puppeteer? i don't like the conspiracy theory way of explaining events around the world, but also it can't be ignored. so, i'm demonstrating my opinion from both conspiracy and nonconspiracy point of views.
from the noncon. p.o.v, these people are either trying to free iraq from the coaliation occupation in a very "dramatic" and sick way that they might've learned from a movie or something, or they don't care about iraq and what they want to do is to have an upper hand over the iraqi people by trying to show that they care for them, and by terrorizing the transition government.
from the conc. p.o.v, these people are puppets in the hands of the coaliation forces, spreading terror in the country so that the iraqis would always be in need for them, which would set the appropriate aliby for USA and England to have a hand on the inside of iraq

What you have to remember is that these people are narrow-minded. They wont stop until they get what they want, and if they dont get it, they will continue trying to get what they want by killing people even if the govrnments or organizations they are trying to put pressure on ignore them, which is, in a way what has been happeneing.
Eventually they will be found and prosecuted or just flat out killed, but you have to admit, that by killing people, it does strike a nerve, and as the numbers build up, you start to wonder if its really worth it (and it is). Really all they are doing is playing a mind game with you. Directly attacking your morals and your conscience.
I'll be the first to admit, its a great tactic. Playing with a persons mind is a brilliant idea and a good means to get what you want, but it just wont work in their case, and it never will.
