hi i'm new to this board but have joined as i need some help with my new job as a project worker at a new community centre. The problem i have is with the children's sessions we run for under 10years. The children who attend are all very active and i'm finding it hard to structure any programmes for them as they all want to do something different. They are happy to colour in and things like this which ok but i'm running out of objectives for colouring in!! I'm starting to feel that it's a play group but this is not the objective of the project. Issued based works for the over tens but for the under i'm struggling for aims and objectives and activties!! I have 7 years experience with 13-17years but not under this age please help!!!!!!thanks

hi buddha21, i am no expert but i guess u can get them to write i know it may seem farfetched but you can get them each to write a story about anything they want or even about their first impression of you. this will keep them busy and interested as well as get you to grade their grammer, spelling e.t.c. hope it works
