How to make a good group leader?

Shen quit her job at Ladder finally because she didn¡¯t like Rebecca and her management style very much. I full understand what Shen felt. Although I learnt nothing about management and how to be a successful leader, I think the basic quality of being a good leader is to treat his or her employee equally instead of looking down them at a very HIGHHHHHHHHHHHHH position in his or her own mind. It¡¯s certain that there are different positions in a company. What does those different positions mean? In my opinion different positions mean nothing more than different job assignments and responsibilities. To be a leader of a group means he or she will take more responsibilities that are certainly more important than the employees take. How to fulfill those responsibilities? How to get the work done well? If all those can be done well alone, then no employees are needed. The fact is that employees with high-spirit are a part of treasury of a company. Unless the leader and his or her employees make effort together they can achieve nothing. To work well, to achieve, they have to support each other. A successful leader needs his or her employees¡¯ support. But to get support from employees he or she must first learn to support his or her employees instead of just sitting and asking them to do this or that. A good leader must be a good helper of his or her employees. He or she of course can assign the employees to do what they want them to do. But when his or her employees are in need of help, a good leader will be a good helper to support them. For example, when the employees need financial support in a project they¡¯re doing, one of what a leader can do is to ask for help from his or her higher leader. When they need technique or professional support, a leader can take the advantages of his or her own knowledge to tackle the problems with the employees together. To support and motive employees with real action instead of lips. Then a good leader exists in their heart naturally. Is it necessary to worry about no support from employees? Responsibilities are fulfilled and work is done well. All of these comes from a leader who knows how to be a helper of his or her employees.
