(For my computer project) When you are shopping, did you ever feel as if you are treated differently because of the way you look(i.e. rich or poor)

Although I havent really been treated differently in a shop becuse of being poor or something but u can always see that preference in their actions and their rude politeness.
Another place where this kind of casting is display openly is the bank. Normally for an ordinary average man to deposit or collet money in the bank takes up to about an 1 hour to 1.5 hour. But there is a sharp difference when a rich "BIG" man comes to the same bank then u experience the huge different between being a poor or average to being a rich man.

i'm doing a project on body image and a young woman who came into the centre was wearing make up i noticed as she never wears make up normally so i ask her why and she said that she had been shopping in town and wore the make up so that shop assistants didn't look down thier noses at her. So ultimatally she felt she would be treated different without the make up.

Yes, Olumese, you are very right. Some years ago, I also experienced it on my favour. Not because I'm rich, but because the staffs of the Bank were my friends. This practices is global. No country is exempted!
