I dont think that there is racism in shopping. My complexion is mixed, but from what I know I have never been miss treated because of it. Ofcourse everyone has been given a dirty look before, but thats not just in shopping alone, that could be anywhere.

Of course there is. I experience it everytime I go to the mall. Just because I have yellow skin and black hair, I often have to wait longer for services, getting less products and getting weird looks my sales persons. They give me not-so-good manners and often do their jobs half-hearted.

I have experienced Racism in shops. Just because my skin colour isbrown and I am an Asian I have to wait longer. The white people (no offense) always get to go first. I have to wait longer and the sales person is not so polite to me as he is to the others.

Racism while shopping

Do you think it's wrong to treat people about their colour or background while shopping at a mall? Of course it is because one time I went shopping and there's this girl with her mother who was around her later teens and what happened was that this other girl started to give her wierd looks because she was short. The girl started to tell me even though I didn't know the person she still said that she looks like a short midget but I didn't want to say anything because I thought I would be in trouble if I talked to a person that I don't know.

I think it's not good to watch people get fun of when they are shopping because I think it's rude to make fun of people while their shopping at the mall.

I also think that it's rude because if I were different from another person, and they were making fun of me and calling me names, I would feel sad. And I will alsobe left out in something.

If you guys were the ones being discriminated for your colour or sulture, most of you as I gather have been, what would you do and why? Also what will be your reaction? Why?

If you're talking about youths in the shopping malls then yes, there is a distinct social hirearchy in place at the mall starting with the black "gangstas" and wiggers on top.
Everyone, anywhere gets a dirty look or is discriminated for their appearence though.
