Do you know any shows?

Since we're always absorbed into television, does anyone know any show(s) that seems to show any stereotypes in a culture, any show(s) that you think makes fun of a culture, any show(s) that seems to have a good amount of multiculturalism and portrays culture in a good way. Thanks. (And when I say show, I mean cartoons, anime, real people shows etc.)

I really don't know, but I guess one show could be the Maury Show. What do you think about that? Because some times they show people with long hair and then later they show the same people with a much mature and better look.

I think there are some shows that place stereotypes in tv. For example, shows like The Simpsons has plenty of stereotyping, even though they are meant to make fun of groups. I haven't really seen racist shows that go over the bar. The most that could happen is stereotyping and the lack of diversity.

THE SIMPSONS!!! Has alot of stereostypes! If you ever watched one episode you will see some always. Like Bart is always clumsy and Lisa is smart, that makes a girl smarter than a boy, not true.

Hey people,
You all are taking about The Simpsons, but there are some other shows which insult other cultures also. I have heard that The Family Guy show is also insulting other cultures. I hope it is true. I thought that it might be true. If it is true then you people can think about any stereotyping in this show because I don't watch that show. If there is no stereotyping in this show, then I am sorry.

I strongly agree. Simpsons has some stereotyping. For example: Marge is a housewife, Lisa is smart, Bart is dumb etc...In real life, this isn't a typical family(for some-maybe) but we don't play any of these roles.

Family guy was like that... and there are a whole lot of other shows out there. Sopranos... most Italian families aren't a group of mobsters. This goes further in movies as they use race or culture to portray something that, in reality, doesn't really exist.
