I think there should be an option to update our profiles. I submitted a picture and about 3 - 5 days ago and it still hasn't gone through. And my active tag is still the same since i joined.

Hello! You can update your profile by using MyTIG (http://my.tigweb.org/).
Your profile image, while was accepted and stored on our systems will not display on your profile page due to your age. Unless you are of certain age, some aspects of your profile will be hidden; profile pictures being one of them.
Your active tag (I assume you are referring to your active rank) will change based on how active you are on the website as a whole. This, over time, will increase if you participate in all the various sections on TakingITGlobal.
So sign a petition, commit to a commitment (or create your own!), be active in the discussion boards, and post to the Global Gallery. Doing these things will increase your active rank.
