I agree. There are many stereotyping in malls. For example: I hate wearing pretty things like dresses, but I like wearing track pants. When I go to the mall, the boys would be saying things like shouldn't I be buying nice things. Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I can't buy pants or buy scale modeled cars etc...

I personally haven't experienced sexism when I go out to shop. However, there's plenty of stereotyping in the ads.

I agree. Everybody is different and that is what makes them unique. There shouldn't be like girls can only do this and boys can only do this. That will then make everybody the same and nobody will be unique. We should accept people for who they are.

I don't think so. Why would people be sexist in shopping malls?

Well, I personally havn't been descriminated because of my gender, but I've read in the book that men pay a lot less for the same things that women buy than women do. And I think that this is a very sexist behaviour.

I think that I was wrong. Sexism in malls is really noticable and if somebody here has not noticed it, I think they are not too observent. If you go to a to shop, the section with toys for girls will always be pink and the one for guys will be blue or some other guy colour. If you are a guy buying something pink, the people working over there will say isn't that something for girls, I think you should take that one, the blue one. Even in T-shirts, the one for girls are always pink or some light cloured while the one for the guys are blue or dark coloured.
