What kind of racism is there in schools? What and how will you help to stop racism? What is the percentage of schools that are part of racism. Give at least three solutions how you can stop racism in schools.

There isn't a lot of racism in school than before. Back then, students were segrated. At least right now, blacks and whites are in the same school.

I'm Asian (AzN PRIDE)and I get a bit of racism. Stupid stereotypes (like doing hmk 24/7, and eating cats, which by the way, I don't)and such ya know? I'm not really sure if it has increased or decreased...in ways in could have increased because its becoming more and more popular (at least in my school) to dfind all the faults of a person, even if it isn't a fault and is just there background, and to make fun of it. On the other hand, we are learning more about different cultures and this understanding of each other should decrease racism. ...still undecided...

I also think that there is less racism in school than before. But the problem is more people think that there is more racism in school than before. I think this is because of the area or the place where you live. That's all I wanted to say for today. I will reply you later.

Hi people
I am back what do you think about my last reply. I think that I will change my last opinion by a little. My opinion changed because, now I think there is more racism in school than before. This is becase before the racism was not only in school it was every where. That's why I think that there is more racism in schools than before.

I just wanted to tell you about my topic

Hi Everyone in this thread,
I'm doing a research project on Racism in schools, and I wanted to find out more about racism in school. I also wanted to know some experiences or situations that you may have been involved in with Racism or that you know of. Have you ever noticed or seen people being discriminated against because of their race, religion, or background? If you have, can you please post a reply to this thread, and I would really appreciate if you tell me about the incident, the comments or actions against the individual or group, and as well as the victim's race. This information would be very helpful to my research and my study.
So I hope to hear from some of you soon, thanks!

I didn't experience much racism in my school life. I've heard of lots of problems in high school dealing with this, but I don't believe in that. I'm still in grade 8, but I think that the way the media tells about schools in movies is wrong.

Racism in Schools

Hey Black Cobra,
Thanks for posting 2 replies for my thread about racism in schools.
So I guess we are doing the same project. (I've finished mine though last week). One thing I noticed during my racism project is that when I had taken a survey in class about racism in school, 84% said that they were affected and only 16% said they were not.
As well, it said that the races that were mainly stereotyped or discriminated against were the Asians, African Americans, and the Indigenous people.
Well, I hope this information was somewhat helpful to you. Anyways, talk to you later. bye!

I think there is a more racism in school than before because now people create names to call people of some other race for example now a days in my school people have created a name " paki " meaning "pakistani"(a person from pakistan)to call other people not even thinking if they are pakistanis or not and me being a pakistani feels discriminated and some times really sad and angry !

I don't there is more racism in school then before because whatever race you are of you get a chance to do whatever you want to do. You are not banned from doing something because you are of a certain race, but I think there is racism in school by students. Students do not like people of certain races to be their friends. So I don't think that racism in school has increased.
