Reaction to Racism in music

In my opinion Racism shouldn't be inserted in to phrases of music because it is something to entertain you and why does there have to be Racism in it? Even without it they are still exciting and if there is Racism in music it gives a negative impact to the society. What is your reaction to racism in music?

I also think the same thing you think. I don't think that racist comments should be inserted into lyrics. I say this because a lot of music, plays a huge role in peoples lives, esspecially teenagers. So if a person were to be listening to one of their favourite artisits, who then spoke( within their lyrics) racist comments, this MAY (i am not saying it does, just saying it may) cause the listener to agree with someone they admire so much.

I said this in my subject as well and I will say it again that I agree with both of you. You guys are right they souldn't put racism in songs or movies. Let all people enjoy the movie or the song. It's a way of entertainment but everyone has a right to be entertained with the same thing. But mostly they can't cause in some movies or songs their kind is getting made fun of.

I agree with all of you.
Music plays a huge role in peoples' lives, there shouldn't be any racism in it. It's really effects the community and it gives some people negative reactions. Some people get influenced by the negative words, they go out and carry out the racism themselves.

I agree completely with you. I think that Racism shouldn't be inputed in music. I like music without all that racist comments. Sometimes my mom doesn't let me listen to this type of music so racism in music should be stopped!
