HABITS CAN BE OVERCOME BY HABITS.
NO ONE IS IDEAL WITH WISE THOUGHTS IN MIND BUT A CIGARETTE IN HAND.
WHEN YOU KNOW YOU ARE RUINING YOUR LIFE FOR FEW NICOTINE PUFFS THAN WHAT AILS YOU FROM QUITING IT?????
LIFE IS PRECIOUS. DEATH IS DESTINY OF ALL BUT THE WAY IT COMES MATTERS THE MOST. SURE YOU WOULDN’T LIKE TO DIE JUST BECAUSE U OFTEN SMOKED 10CM CIGARETTE.
IF YOURE A SMOKER AND DESIRE TO QUIT THAN DON’T PAMPER YOURSELF WITH EXCUSES. QUIT IT AND RESPECT YOUR DECESION BY FOLLOWING IT. THERE IS NOTHING IN WORLD THAT CAN’T BE ACHIEVED WITH AN ENTHUSIASM.UNLESS U DEVELOP WILL POWER IN U NO OTHER METHODS CAN HELP.
PEOPLE SAY KISSING A SMOKER IS LIKE LICKING AN ASHTRAY.

I smoked from like age 15 - 20. I never was a heavy smoker so it was easier for me to quit. I know most of my older relatives smoked but back then there wasn't much awareness. My grandfather told me they handed out Lucky Strike cigarettes FREE to troops in WW2. He quit smoking in his early sixties but it was hard for him. My other grandfather still smokes Lucky Strikes!!! And he had a heart attack a few years ago. I guess they aren't that "lucky." My great-great uncle smoked a lot and spend the last part of his life on a respirator half-day. I know people who still smoke even though they are aware of the dangers and are even starting to develop problems! Quitting is a mental thing more than a chemical thing I think. Otherwise why would people who haven't smoked for several months feel that they "need" a cigarette? Usually it's stress or something. After I quit I went and smoked ONE cigarette after I got dumped. It didn't help but I did it anyway.

Everyone knows smokings Bad for you. I still smoke. i think that to understand smoking you have to find the reasons people start. no one who starts smoking does it just out of the blue, there is something there that is a trigger. I do wish however that instead of people constantly hitting you witha stream of smoking is wrong and bad for you, that they would give the support nessecarry to people who smoke, they all have their reasons.

Sorry for the continous coughing, nowadays it becoame associated with my identity since I am smoking 40 pcs of Benson & Hedges, the best tobacco available in my home.
I understood it is a poison and a waste exported to the third world, but I get no guts to quit it for the last 20 years. I am afraid no body can help. Now I'll give the benefits of the doubt to NOSMOQ and try we can acheive together. God help the Third World.

everyone knows that smoking is bad for you but people still have the choice as to whether they want to do it or not.
personally i think smoking is a waste of time and money and damaging to our health.
some people did it because they thought it was cool, others because they were forced into it, some even do it because it helps them to de stress or they think that it helps them to lose weight.
if people who are well respected and who have a lot of people who look up to them campaign that smoking is a bad thing others might not try them as the their hero/heroine is against it.
If there was a limit to how many cigarettes a company could make per year then it would shorten the supply of them it would be harder to find them. less people will then also smoke.
at the end of the day only the determination of the individual to not smoke or quit smoking will decide on whether they will do it or not.

Smoking why even start? Well, there are many 'triggers' to eat and most smokers start because of stress or peer pressure. There truly aren't any benefits. For some, it relives steam, others want to look cool, but who looks good, smelling bad, with yellow teeth, and fingers. Honestly, if people find it so difficult to quit, people should have never started. But atleast through thier mistakes, we the younger generation, can learn more.

If you have never smoked, how do you know what willhelp them quit?
If you've never smoked good for you, but by posting negative viewpoints your not helping anyone, all your doing is showing how insensitive you are.
Its very easy to put down what you dont understand. Holding a view like "Honestly, if people find it so difficult to quit, people should have never started." is just showing how ignorant and self centred you truly are.
If you dont smoke its very very easy to pass judgement on those that do. That really doesnt do anyone any good, apart from giving you a sense of "im better than you, you smoke"
