ONLINE Climate Change Conference!
April 17, 2002 - 11:43 AM

In 50 years world's climate could reach a temperature as hot as it used
to be in the age of dinosaurs! Usually such changes take thousands of years...
ecosystems can't adapt, neither can we.

We hosted a Climate Change Conference this weekend at the University of California at Berkeley.
Post-conference, our goal is to make it as accessible as possible to people around the world!!
For a period of two weeks six of our speakers will be available to answer questions. We hope later
to add multimedia and other resources. Come visit us and talk about this very important issue!!!
The address is-

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Also, we are trying to create a database of environmental organizations around the
world. We just launched it this weekend, and want to fill it up with your contributions from around
the world. Please visit:
http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~eco/network.html
And add your group!
If you add yourself, please be kind and place a link to us on your website.
Thank you!
Impacts of Climate Change in the Pacific.
August 11, 2004 - 07:01 AM
I am thankful that people world wide are seeing the real effects of Climate change. We in the Pacific faces continuous change every day....4 seasons in 1 day. Two main islands in the Pacifc are facing the real threats right now- Tuvalu and Kiribati... Most of the NGO's here are working hard to address this problems. And the great thing about this campaign is the inclusion of the churches as well.While our individual governments work hard to introduce renewable energy, I wish to ask our friends in the USA, Australia and Russia too if you could assisst us by reminding and persuading your governments to sign up the Kyoto Protocol. We do not wish to move out from these islands we have call our HOME...
