Since the attacks on America I have been struggling with religion war
and peace. As Gandhi has said
Retaliation is not the solution
The policy of an eye for an eye will make the whole world blind.
Are not the Muslim terrorists similar to the Christian Crusaders, each
killing and maiming people in the name of God, Allah, or Holy One. And
yet in all the Holy Books of the great religions is there not somewhere
a statement that says "thou shalt not kill"?
How close is your country's actions to Godliness? Does your country
allow men to kill their women for disobeying them? Does your country
treat people of color equally? Do the same laws and punishments apply
for both men and women of all classes?:mervin jr summit
