AlQaeda and ETA...
March 14, 2004 - 09:47 AM

I just read in one of the arabic news website that Castro is accusing Aznar's government of fooling the spanish people when they accuse ETA of being the one who made those explosions, for having some interest behind that which is the elections ofcourse, that they're using the grief of the spanish people for their own benefit during those elections ...
Maybe there's some interest behind accusing ETA of being the one behind those unhuman acts, especially that there's those elections going on now in Spain..Well,it was logic to accuse ETA on friday, but now and after the annoucement that AlQaeda is responsible for that,it's a bit bizarre that they say that it might be a cooperation between AlQaeda and ETA,which I find so hard to beleive..

I don't think it's ETA

Well,I don't think it's ETA actually...It's not its style anyway,ETA doesn't usually kill civilians...
What I meant that the spanish gov is trying to convince people it's ETA to political reasons with relation to the elections..
I actually was really surprized with the insistance of Aznar's gov to link those acts to ETA eventhough there's a lot of suspection towars AlQaeda, even if it's not AlQaeda I wonder how they're ignoring that, especially that I know very well that everybody is likely to accuse AlQaeda without even a single proof for that, and now that they have a proof and they're refusing to do it...
Actually,it might not be AlQaeda but it's so weird that they don't do the usual in these cases..to run to that option that AlQaeda might have done it,and that's the bizarre thing about the whole issue..

Only "beleivers" can go do such a thing. You must beleive you are doing absolute good etc... and that its all legal.
And beleivers r NOT logicals. Logic thing would be to demonstrate on streets if there is something worng, or go work urself.

l think that ETA is just using the fact that alQaeda is the most wanted terrorist network to justify its actions.they are just to make their presence felt at the done of the Spanish elections. Fidel Castro is true offcourse and Spaniard should try to think about fighting ETA than directing their minds to al Quaeda.for the network of Usama bin Laden is not out for civil liberties but rather global injustice.therefore ETA justifications are fake and unrealistic.

take it easy, a lot of spaniards, as I are waiting to know about how eta helped the marrocans with the bombings in Madrid one month ago. They are fighting together in Irak so why not in Spain? Why do you think France is now helping so much against ETA? I am sure there are good reasons, because, be honest, France NEVER helped Spain because they love each other...

Now that things got a bit clearer after having some evidence about those Moroccans, and after those 2 Moroccoans who blew themselves as they are getting arrest..
Crispi,
As you're living in Spain..Would you tell us how are things going??I mean how the people are feeling??and do you really think that ETA hepled the Moroccans and why???
Actually,I really wanna know how do you see things as here there's a lot of debates aboiut those Moroccans groups taking part in those stuff..
And if there 's any new info about that group??is it active there in Spain,I mean did they do any other attemps???

WE are not living in an world, where is not smart to prefer optimistic view. Too bad, well...
Realism does its thing best. Thiangs are as they are (bad or worse) good thing is they can be affected by action, but the best starrting point for any action is when starting from Realistic view point.
Please do not get Pesimistic, as this is completely useless and it also opposes Realism.
