Thats just horrific with what you can get away with if you have power that nobody can control.

American had to cross half way around the globe just to ruin whole country for ideological purposes. Not just country, it is also ppl which only bad luck was that they lived there.

Personal solution i get to think about is following:

Hire best lawyers and take American government to the court and sue out major war reparations (they officially lost the war). With that money you can finance demining process ( or UN can do that for less costs) but emphasise help for helping people and their now destroyed environment. As ppl there rely on land and they get their food from land that makes them vulnerable for the effect of Agent Orange poison, which is still in land. And gets into the food they grow. So they eat down the poison together with food they grow. Result is just horrifying. Kids get born with crippled or missing limbs, thus making whole society suffer.
Helth costs for sustaining population are surely fitting the rooftops.

If Americans came there to mess up the people they done that with highest grade.

Good thing for Vietnamese is that they have smyphaty of almost whole human kind. Sad part is thats virtually un important as symphaty is not a money or knowledge.

With best of luck !

At the moment in Vietnam, the appeal for signatures to support the victims of Agent Orange in Vietnam war (period 1962-1965)is widespread, even shown on live TV programme. It's still new to many and they are very willing to sign.

I'm just wondering a bit that there are quite many organizations ask for the signature. Online community send the link above to other friends, "The Youth" - one of our magazine also provide a corner in their website for us to sign, and so many others ... So I really don't know which org really have a stand to support in the "battle" at the court in USA.

BTW: Agent Orange did its part to harm US ground troops as well. Those that walked over areas affected with poison contracted those poisons and it remained in their bodies. But for them is also very hard to fight legal battles with US administration to give them some reparations (imagine how lot harder it will be for civilian vietnamese).
