Media Tolerance.
February 29, 2004 - 03:11 AM

Why are nowadays leaders very intolerant when it comes to any media speculation about them. i should believe that it is everyone's right to express themselves whenever, wherever and on whatever. why are these leaders so fond of harrasing media reporters about anything that is not in favour with their rule.

Hmm. Not far back ,you were talking about "moral decay" and now you are talking about freedom of expression?

One thing: Leaders r public persons and they loose right to privacy at spot.

leaders

here in argentia, leaders are very intolerant of what the media says about them. though many people don't have a way to bring media into their home because many people are poor!!!

i have no problem with the media publicizing a little about people, but shouldnt TOTALLY publicize people

Media has one excellent ability - if allowed. It can dig up the trash politicians and other decision makers are trying to hide from public. It prevents some major wrongdoings etc. Media must not become a propaganda tool for any ideology or interest group. Most use is if its used to make all realtions among men better and if it promotes fairness and general tolerance towards weak and underpriviledged.
