A Pentagon report says climate change will do more for death, destruction and mayhem, and poses a greater threat to US security, than terrorism.

Maybe they can artificially restore ozon layer to its normal level.

In order for action to be taken, the threat must be recognized. Of course, Bush refuses to acknowlegde the threat, and is ignoring the Pentagon's report. I guess the other countries will have to take the lead and Americans will have to act independantly until Dubya gets out of office.

There are many other threats to the Americans other than terrorism, namely: Small arms proliferation, exportation of their economy, China's rapid industrialization, unification of rogue states as a consequence of rapid Americanization....
All these are surely more threatening to the Americans than terrorism; but due to his monolithic 'theology,' that is the only focus.
