Censorship in South Korea
February 7, 2004 - 06:02 AM

We've just about seen it all now. South Korea is trying to censor us because we exposed animal abuse in their country involving unsanitary and abusive conditions for dogs and cats. This is not about some "save the world" effort by activists. We saw dogs being beaten, hung, electrocuted, and burned alive in deliberate acts by South Koreans because they think that torturing an animal makes the meat better for sexual powers! The same is true with cats. SARS, bird flu, and who knows what else may be alive and well in those animal markets. Despite this, despite South Korean laws making the eating of dogs and cats illegal, nothig is being done, except now they want to make it LEGAL.

This is not about what people eat. This is about deliberate animal torture. But, not surprising, they are trying to shut down this effort so that no one finds out. You can watch the video on our Web site. http://www.seoulsearching.com/DogMeat.html

We have even more violent and graphic video coming from Moran Market in Seoul. They can try and censor that too.

Read the letter from the South Korean Embassy in Washington, D.C. as well. Equally amusing as their efforts to censor us. One scandal after another, one lie after another. That's South Korea, and the South Korean media is right in bed with the government.

By the way, there is nothing cultural about them eating dogs and cats, and furthermore, there is nothing cultural about deliberate torture of animals in Korean history.
