A Place to Hide??

Is there really such a thing as Corporate Social Responsibility?
Some corporations may well be responsible and others may be very far from it. Doesnt the banner "Corporate Social Responsibility" give large companies a place to hide?
It is unbelievable to me that any company can hold as much or even more wealth than a nation. But, this is the case. The figures are (off the top of my head, please correct me if Im wrong) 70% of the worlds wealth is in the hands of 35 nations and corporations. Is this fair?
Why do large, very profitable companies induce (the equivalent of) slave labour in the developing world, taking advantage of the worlds poor? Is this fair?
How can you justify an executive director earning £100,000pa while other members of staff earn £15,000pa for the same workload - fine skills and experience comes into it, but surely not for £80,000 difference. Is this right?
Shouldn't Corporate Social Responsibility be a much more strongly enforced Corporate Global Responsibility?
In my opinion, companies should be forced to put a large percentage of their profits into things that are real human needs, like the healthcare system and education nationally and internationally. The patheticness of some companies "generosity" towards CSR is alarming.
