Wow.My first reply on thjis perticular forum. Lets make it short. Absence of tolerance destroys societies. That means. If u r different and if you are minority u can pack up and leave. Funny it is its many times right minority one which is most creative and whjich carries the banner of human progress.
Just like Futurism. Ave Futuria.
Thank you very much for reding this short opinion.
P.S. I am not going to "solve" my personal problems by pointing fingers or blame my problems on others. On that way i dont solve my problems.

The problem is when during these discussions those against Islam get too emotional and indirectly insult Muslims.
It is more of the other way around. Like in this forum, it is the muslims who got emotional and DIRECTLY insulted the non-muslims.

Reasons for Concern

Let us stick to the subject matter and examine it without getting emotional or feeling like it is personal.
There is nothing to be afraid of.
Islam has a high profile in the world today, it is a major global concern as it is presently used globally by some, to justify the atrocities that have been perpetrated in Islam's and God's name, and is used also to threaten the world for more of the same.
Islam is a growing global concern that cannot be ignored or left out of genuine and progressive discussion and debate.
Islam therefore deserves thorough examination and scrutiny using intelligent, sound and rational reasoning.
Should we stifle debate because someone or some few get offended?
If that were to happen there would be no parliaments of government, free speech would become extinct.
Islamic literature has content that discriminates against, denigrates and preaches hatred and persecution toward other groups of people that are seen as outside the folds of Islam.
This does not necessarily mean that all who profess to be Muslims agree with such discrimination, but as free thinking humans, these Muslims should speak out with the same voice that they might speak out against ANY discrimination, persecution and hatreds that confront humanity.
Should those who the islamic literature discriminates against remain silent?
Here are some concerns that I have, please read and comment and discuss THE SUBJECT MATTER.
According to www.alminbar.com, an online council for imaams
www.alminbar.com:
Quote:
The site is being supervised by a distinguished team of students of knowledge. They are graduates of Islamic universities and Institutes of Hadeeth from Saudi Arabia, and specialized in different fields of knowledge.
Here's one of their friday sermons:
Disbelievers-Their Characteristics & Status In The Hereafter
http://www.alminbar.com/khutbaheng/1819.htm
See also this Islamic site.
http://thetruereligion.org/apostatepunish.htm
Lying in Islam
By Abdullah Al Araby
http://www.islamreview.com/articles/lying.shtml
Like most religions, Islam in general, forbids lying. The Quran says, "Truly Allah guides not one who transgresses and lies." Surah 40:28. In the Hadith, Mohammed was also quoted as saying, "Be honest because honesty leads to goodness, and goodness leads to Paradise. Beware of falsehood because it leads to immorality, and immorality leads to Hell."
Please read the above objectively and with an open mind, it is not an attack or aimed at insulting people, it is a scrutiny of an ideology and texts that have their origins in 7th century Arabia and it's subsequent impact on the world of today.
Do I, do you, have genuine reasons to be concerned?
Best regards.
Porky.

My friend I think you'll find that both groups are responsible for getting over-emotional (including yourself). Which Muslim in these forums, though, has attacked your beliefs? I am interested to know!!
Have these posts not been created to provoke conversation about Islam??
Has Islam never been attacked??
As a neutral in this Argument, I can see many of the reasons people may have for choosing not to follow Islam; and I can see also why others are very happy and content in their Islamic faith
However the way in which people like yourself have weighed in with such a barrage of hate for Islam is on a par with those same hate filled fundamentalists whom you are so much against

I am completely tolerant of anything that is completely tolerant of me and my family. Plain & simple.
For example Im completely tolerant of Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, Humanism, Feminism, Animism, & Athiesm. No problem.
I am completely against those ideologies that seek to dominate and discriminate against me & my familiy for what we are or and what we believe in.

Rights cannot be forced onto anyone, actually. They must demand them.
If you are worried about education, dont be. Knowledge always finds its way to the mind.
They will start ot respect their rights, if they start loosing some of them. Or when in deep trouble, only then u start thinking.
I am confident that they will after many long years of truobles ahead of them, have some positive result.
Any why r u worried about them ?
If they are ok with themselves, why cant you be.
I am ok with myself as a Futurist and i wolud find it really impolite (at least!) that somebody else would be giving me advice how to run my life.
Experience r gained thru suffering out problems. And they r about to face many.

Dear Kaiser,
Please share the solutions you may have relating to lack of human-rights and comprehensive education in Islamic lands, global terrorism (all religions) and biological, chemical and nuclear threats.
Do you see problems in these fields?
Regards.

ONE Kuwaiti woman speaks in the first person plural "WE".
Have you wondered why many of the other "WE" flee the islamic lands, many as refugees, to live in the "west" and be "taught"?
Get it?

Oh sure they do, but that their choice.
World is full of opportunities.
There is a lot of different choices to make. People are very different at their needs. Some need that, some dont.
Some even select to be part of Futuria community, which is good . I dont mind that.

Dear Kaiser,
Many people are not aware that they have rights as a birth-right.
Of course one should not force anything on anyone, but it is important that the rights are AVAILABLE so there is a free choice; I disagree that rights must be only be demanded.
Rights must be known, be available, be desired and adopted or rejected by informed choice.
Unfortunately sometimes rights have to be fought for.
Your comment, "They will start to respect their rights, if they start loosing some of them" - relates to those who have thier rights in the first instance.
Surf this site and learn about those who are deprived of their rights.

best wishes.

Well i need to clarify my view.
I am Futurist and we have a definite view on human rights:
It goes:
All rights are given by birth and cannot be taken away.
But,
To sustain level of rights - which are VERY costly - we have to fulfill duties simulataneously. Duties such as:
- 8 hours work (activity) everyday (not really hard)
- never to stop improving yourself (hard)
- Gain good knowledge (hmm)
- etc etc ...
By 8 hour daily work i mean "JOB" or activity. Country sohlud provide every individual JOB or activity so he can fulfill duties and therefore preserve given rights
U know ,nothing is for free, and its costly.
And on very important thing!
People should NOT have opinions about others, coz that way they are not helping themselves. Opinion is like a judgement on somebody else. And it consumes valuable time which we need on other occasions, such as doing duties.
weeeeeeeeeow. thats it
Ave Futuria
