Ideas About how to make the obesity level go down!

I just came up with an idea that could work. I think an actual HEALTH class or Nutrition class should be required throught a child's ENTIRE school career. The idea of whats healthy and what's not should be instilled in their brain as soon as they start going to school and it should continually be driiled into their heads throughout their lives.
They should be taught about positive food choices and what your bosy REALLY needs to function properly. And they should understand the negative effects of BAD food choices.
I believe that the more people actually know and understand about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and how food and exercise effect their bodies the better chioces they are bound to make about their diet and lifestyle.

My Biology teacher has taught me a bunch about being healthy. For instance, To keep water weight at a minimum you should drink more water. If you don't drink enough water your body thinks it's not going to be getting any water so it stores the water and the result is you gain weight. If you continualy drink enough water, your body will know it's going to continue to recieve the amount of water it needs and therefore your body won't store any water because it knows it will get the water it needs.

The same idea goes with water also. I learned that you should eat about 5 small meals a day. 1)Breakfast 2)Snack 3)lunch 4)snack 5)dinner. Breakfast should be your largest meal and dinner would be your smallest. In reality yuo should eat about every 3 hours or so to keep your body from storing excess fat. As with the water if you don't eat regularly enough your body will think it is starving so it will store fat whenever it is fed. If you eat a little something every few hours your body will not store any excess because it knows it will get the food it needs soon.
Now if you eat every few hours you certainly cannot eat foods that are high in calories or just plain unhealthy!
In fact you shouldnt really count calories at all. If you eat healthy then you shouldnt have to worry about calories.
Breakfast should be high in protein and calcium. Try eggs and bacon, an omelette, yogurt, toast with peanut butter. And drink some milk.
Lunch should contain some meat and cheese. Maybe a salad or a ham and cheese sndwhich.
Snacks should be fruit, cheese or nuts
dinnner should consist of meats, pasta and or vegetables. Like steak, spaghettie, and whatever vegetable you like.
Remember it takes 20min for your body to know when it is full so EAT SLOWLY! I hope this info helps you out!
