Peace be upon you all,
Unfortunately there are mischief makers in the world of any creed, or background. I found the following post by a newly joined member on another forum dedicated to systematic hatred and falsehood. The members there are very active in attempting to manipulate other forums.
The posting made on that site follows:
"they havent deleted my post yet, i knew it should be hard and I think if we stick around with more subtle posts, we can make Muslims actually run away from the forum (right). no one answered my posts yet and the trick is to subtlely tell them "i'm a former muslim and blah blah", or "i dont believe i need Islam as a religion" etc. and longer anti-Islamic articles/stuff posted there are not tolerated, but if its gentle anti-islamic stuff, they'll have very tough time deleting it (thats what i predict.)
anyway, i'm gonna hang around there and have more fun later"
This person is an alleged Pakistani now living in the US and goes by the handle "adnan".
He is an acknowledged enemy of people with religious/spiritual views and the means will always justify the ends for him and others like him.
Take care and be very careful with the mischief these idiots will cause on your very well managed forum.

This forum is pretty safe as long as decent intellectual honest discussion without personal remarks is carried out and Freedom of Speech is upheld under these conditions. This is a website with noble intentions and on this forum, even calling Osama Bin Laden or President Bush an "idiot" is not appropriate.
I have indicated Pollution, consumption and a number of other areas in which I'm genuinely interested and I'll explore this website to learn about any activities that are being planned about these issues.
As a request to you, I had http://www.takingitglobal.org/discuss/showthread.html?s=&threadid=5327 in the forum that I am a former Muslim and that I face danger to my life because Prophet Mohammed ordered to kill those who left Islam. Instead of resorting to personal attacks, I would appreciate if you replied to my thread and advised me on how to keep myself safe, knowing that I'm a former Muslim with family still living in Muslim countries.

Greetings.
1) please avoid personal remarks that are untrue. Free people may not like some peoples' some beliefs but they certainly hate no one. In fact they are the ones who are fighting the hate that other may have towards them due to their such religious beliefs and actions. Homosexuals do not hate anyone but they are hated by such people whose beliefs tell them to do so and they may even be killed by them for being homosexuals. So who is hating who? The case is very similar for apostates of islam for example. I do not hate you or anyone else for that matter just because you are religious yet I am not safe from such people as believe in killing of those who change their religous beliefs. Now you cannot blame me for speaking out against such beliefs or actions of those who do so, can you? How many websites you have visited where people are busy telling others to not to believe so or do so?
2) You are right that forums are under threat but not from those who are fighting for freedom of thought and expression. The forums are under threat from those who do not like others to be critical of their such beliefs and actions that are harmful for others. There is nothing wrong with exposing the bad religious teachings and their biggotted followers just as there is nothing wrong with exposing the bad racial teachings and their biggotted promoters.
I would love to see open forums where all people use their good sense and thrash out beliefs and practices for our better future. Not talking sense oneself and not allowing others to tackle the issues is not really going to bring us together but always keep us in pigeon-holes. People have got to discuss and resolve the issues that are keeping them apart and not put them away for a later time. Let us not put away the work that needs to be done today for tomorrow, for tomorrow never comes.
So please be rest assured that there is no any threat to this forum from people like myself who love freedom of thought and expression. It the people who tell others not to say what they think are the ones you need to worry about.
I hope this explantion clarifies the matter and I wish you nothing dear friend but love, peace, happiness and prosperity.

People who resort to bullying tactics are no less a threat to this forum.

Hello muslim brothers,
Thanks for appreciating that there is a life out side islam.
It was not me who kept on repeating that islam means way of life, a to z or that islam is the ultimate truth and that people must follow it etc etc etc......
Did you ever stop and think how much money is spent on missionary centres and the missionaries and the missions by the islamic ummah? It was not I who criticised islam first but it was islam and its followers that indoctrinated me as a child some 60 year back in time. I am entitled to respond, aren't I? You cannot blame me for criticising islam because it is islam that initiated the action and I am only reacting to it. Believe me you will do exactly the same if some one mislead you for quite some time.
Islam ruins lives by setting wrong goals for people. Can you tell me how you are going to make progress and prosper in this life if you really do not believe in this life?
Moreover what makes you people so sure that there is a hereafter if the quran fails to prove to be word of god? This surely means a total loss, does it not? So if I were you, I would think it over before asking others to follow me or is it good to give people false assurances?
Does a good father like some of his children to kill others even if they are bad? Does a good father feel sad when some of his children are doing really well even if they are bad? So please read the quran very carefully and at each and every verses think of the mindset of the author of the quran. You will come to know that the quran is not written by any god but some people whose purpose it serves. Trees are known by their fruits my friends and muslims are known by their actions as dictated by the quran and the sunnah.

Hey Abdallah, you are right, there is a real lack of proficiency as you said, is not it a weried coincidence Also I have been online since a while, and I have noticed the change of the various username, one signs in post a reply, then sign out and then sign in with the other username and post a reply to HIS TWIN BROTHER.
Maybe, there are not to be blamed for that trick, maybe they have no idea that TakingIT Global is an honest serious productive site.
Honesty is really hard to achieve for some people as I can witness. Hey maybe that is the clue to the misterious title (There are threats to your forum).

Dear muslim brothers and sisters,
Please avoid taking peoples' critical look at islam as personal attacks, they are not. The discusions are about truth or falsehood of islam. Just as the quran teaches that muslims must criticise what they consider to be falsehood eg paganism or other nonislamic faiths.
Quran is full of verses that criticise or in your words attack other peoples' religions or do you want me to quote all such verses from all over the quran? If quran and muslims have the right to criticise other peoples' beliefs to show them false, why are others not allowed to respond in a like manner? If it was a bad thing to be critical of wrong beliefs of other people, why allah did it in the quran and why he told his prophets and their followers to do the same ? Could he being all knowing not just emphasise goodness of islam only instead of citing badnness of what other people believed and being critical of it?
Please think about it, so that you could see yourselves that by implication you are actually criticising Allah yourselves. What Abraham did to gods of pagans is clearly told in the quran and Abraham is to be followed by muslims as an example see 21/57, 60/4 etc etc. What Muhammad did to gods of pagans of Makkah is clearly told in islamic literature eg hadith books as well as history books.
Would it be right if nonmuslims destroyed muslim places of worship to show muslims the errors of their ways like Abraham did to pagans? Is this the islamic teaching for creating peace between human beings of diffring faiths? So please concentrate on issues not on people. Your job being muslims is to prove and justify islam just as other peoples' task is to examine islam and show problems with it after you have invited them to islam by command of Allah almighty. By talking about people you are not being fair. This forum if it is truly fair must allow differing and opposing views on the same issues. Atheists and agnostics etc have as much right to express their views on theism and religions as much theisms and religions have the right to be preached to them. You cannot creat peace by telling your opponants to shut up and get out. That way you are only storing the trouble perhaps yet greater in magnitude for a later date. You see the two people who have any problem between them must thrash it out between themselves so that the air between them could be cleared. Otherwise people will become isolated and grow independentdly and that would create yet more dangerous environment for our future generations. So discussing things openly is best way to defuse bad situastions.

This is a very strange forum and as yet is going nowhere.
The point made by Abdallah about both people logging on on the same day is a very good one and I really dont think this discussion deserves any positive input
