A coalition of NGOS in Enugu Nigeria, working in the area of HIV/AIDS and Partnering With DFID, has successfully completed a pilot project using the community based initiative (CBI) as a strategy and has established community based action communities on HIV/AIDS (CACA) In the rural communities to take the fight against HIV Aids.
This network needs further funding to extend to other communities and update the knowledge of members of the already establishment.

This is interesting; there is a similar approach in Cameroon managed by and umbrella organization called Organization for Life Care OFLIC . A very dear person to me happens to be the Projects Director. They are currently exploring possibilities of partnerships with sister organizations especially in the light of exchange of programmes and resource mobilization. May be you might like to get in contact with them.

my organisation the skywalkers youth organisation in edo state are also fighting against HIV(AIDS), and as peculiar to nigeria the problem is fund we are trying to organise a seminar and workshop now on THE HIV(AIDS)EPIDEMIC:WHATS TO BE DONE. and we need exactly N150,000 to pull it through.
maybe u will like us to partner together to bring about a wide coverage and exchange of information and resources.
