Looking for IT idea & partner(s)

Hello,
I'm currently unemployed and am looking for a new business idea. I'm fully capable of creating desktop and web applications, but I can't think of an idea that I am confident enough in to develop.
Does anyone have an idea for a software application or a web site, and would be interested in a partner?
Any suggestions on else I can come up with a good idea, I've been coming up empty for a while.
Any advice would be nice!

Hi Tim! Nowadays confiability is stronger necessary for starting a business or an organization. If u wants to looking for a partner with a nice idea... He/She needs from u more than u were post in ur profile... Eg. an email, msn, background, etc. You know about lot of rip-off's existing on Intenet. So will be nice if u tell us more about you. Are you only interested in business?

You can try your Luck at http://rentacoder.com as well, It is a good site, there are always new projects posted over there, you simply need to make a bid to win a project, apart from a resume, the project buyers rate you when you do their work, this rating gives you more credidbility and a better chance to be able to be selected for other projects.

Hi,
I can understand that issue, but I feel that the business interests is what would bring a partner & myself together initially. After that I'd be happy to get to know them better and see how things go. For me, I'm a software developer who lives in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada) and is very interested in creating a new product/service. I'm looking for someone who has an idea and is either technical savvy too, or business savvy. I've been thinking about some shareware ideas but I'm interested in teaming up with someone.
