We say it Asslam Alikum.
Just as many Arabs and Muslims do.
Rim , I know you wanna learn it , but when it comes to How R u ?
In Pushto we say it , Senga Yea?
And in Dari , Chetor Asti?

salam

When I was muslim, ofcourse I used to say "salam" or "salam a laikum". Now that I'm not muslim any longer, its still on my toungue and ofcourse I have to say salam to other muslims because otherwise they're going to start bothering me "hey, say Salam!" and I dont want to tell them that I left Islam.
Salam is cool with me, I still say Salam to some Indian friends because its in my tongue now.
The literal translation of "Hi, how are you" is:
"oye, kiya haal hai?" but oye is a word used for close friends and not something that we can say to our boss.

Diversity is a fact of the Creations of Almighty, the knower of all the secrets and there are signs for all who wish to see.....Most important is hte need to suggest uniform faith based practices for attaining Kyoto Protocol emission targets. One such pracitce is the practice of offering prayer /performing salat five times a day .This can be seen for its impact on replacing leisure engagements that utilize fossil fuel based services and utilities.
