"Coke" ate the market...

In 1912 Issac Lindley founded in Lima - Peru a soda company called "Inca Kola". This british entrepreuner showed his love to Peru, when he baptized his first soda product in honor of the ancient emperaors of Peru "The Inca's"...
Through years, the flavour of this new soda conquered, like the real "Inca's", all the land of Peru as the first soda into the peruvian market. His golden color and freshness as a real digestive works as the perfect partner of any peruvian culinary dish.
At the same time a battle between "Inca Kola" and "Coke" started... David versus Goliat... Seventy years of disputing of the peruvian soda market and "Inca Kola" won ever... Globalization brought new ideas and "Label's" needs to conquer more territories in spite of the fact of best seller products are in the other side of the competition... So one day a financial proposal came to Lindley family and nowadays "Inca Kola" became as one of the companies of the multinational "Coke Company"...
"Inca Kola - The beverage of national flavour" was ate by a multinational, for some hundred million of dollars and "Coke" reached at the number one position in Peru...
Actually, lot of "Inca Kola" consumers argued that "Inca Kola" isn't the same... their flavour was changed they says... Perhaps a new tactic for placing "Coke" into "Inca Kola" position...
In the other hand, other peruvian entrepreuners put new alternatives of soda with different colors and flavours that step by step won some percentages into the soda ranking...
Besides, a new soda that is call "Don Issac Kola", with the same color and flavour and similar package of the old "Inca Kola", conquer some positions too... As you see "Isaac" is the name of the founder of "Inca Kola" and clients argue that Lindley descendants are backstage of this new product with their original formula...
Finally, as "Don Isaac Kola" slogans says "The flavour of my people" or "The soda that shouldn't been selled" makes to think more to what happen when transnationals tries to reach something with the power of money ... The natural response of clients for defending as what they consider a national inheritance too

Love fizzy drinks????... Uhmmm I think in the past.... Well I love "Inca Kola", cause is the best fizzy drink to drink while I eat peruvian plates... Nowadays I drink a lot of water than fizzy drinks... Around 2 liters of water per day... That is healthy and to be in shape... and one glass of fizzy per week...
Hey Jarra! I heard that "Orangine" in France is the same business case as "Inca Kola" in Peru... When I Stayed in Paris I drunk more water.. but in the case of frizzy drinks I prefered "Ice Tea" than Coke

We were watching a documentary last week called "The Corporation" in which it is mentioned that The Coca Cola Company created Fanta in the 1940's to maintain sales in Nazi Germany while the distribution of Coke was halted.
Thanks for adding a new dimension.
