Autmobile and motorcycle racing vs sustainable development goals
Feb 22, 2014

Not all modern sports seem to comply with sustainable development goals. All sorts of automobile and motorcycle racing may be mentioned as examples. What are your views?

Dear Ian,
1- about profits: it is a symbol of capitalism.

2- development out of research: research could be done on transport equipment that do not use fossil fuels.

3- corporate interests: I am surprised. These corporations are elements of capitalism.

Ian,
What would your reply be?

Farhad
1.without the possibility of profit capitalists wont invest.

2.research is being done on transport that doesn't use fossil fuels but there is a lot of money to be made from fossil fuel technology still.
3 corporations rely on profitability that's why they support any buisness ventures that can maximise profitability advertising is huge in motorsport. I2

Ian,
I find myself in agreements with you. Now I come to a new question.

May we find some elements of capitalism useful for the mankind?
