The next five years in tech
Nov 18, 2013

Hey everyone,

This month's featured topic will look at where the technology industry is headed in the next five years. I thought I would get the conversation started here!

Where do you see tech headed in the next five years? Which specific technologies do you see emerging? Which will be obsolete?

Let me know, and we will try to include your ideas in this months featured topic!

- Shane

Technologies will be much more usefull, mobile phones will be stuff "you must have". We will have much bigger speed of internet and better communications in whole world!! We will have much more partnerships, and i hope great ideas how to make our lifes easier to live. Like everything, tech have good and bad side. We need to have good balance between that to, i think there will be much more scam, cybercrime, pornography which will be available to everyone, and these are the things that destroy the lives of youth.

I think, Tablet-Phone-PC OS will merge together.
There will be no individual OS for Individual devices.

Technology will be much useful if applied in the health care services, will reduce the high rate of deaths due to lack of enough information of the patient.

3D printers - definitely. They can be used for personal gain, business and medical. So I think this technology should be developed as much as possible. It's a huge hope for patients with amputations e.g.

I think it'll be the VR technology. And some old tech will still grow, like Wordpress Theme
