[Poll] Where's the bond oh Africa?
Jun 14, 2013

The flare of civilization has taken away the culture and bond that held us Africans together; taken it to far dream land. Africans have almost lost the integration that promoted peace and coexistence within their communities.

The problem lies on the fact that civilization came and was welcomed as a huge package (with mixed-up items) filled with good and filthy materials. The leaders and people have not had time or had not thought to do a kind of filtration before usage. Maybe it is the price others have also paid for civilization entrant.

On the contrary, there is still an opportunity for rework, rebuild and reintegration. while the Africans are thirty for development, it is pertinent that we do not forget our root -the bond that held us a people. African community leaders never had to take individual decisions without the acceptability of the people they govern.

I understand she means the Western civilization which has all the elements that caused wars in Europe including capitalism, Imperialism, fascism and nationalism.
