Islamic Microfinance Phase II; Profit Sharing
Apr 30, 2013

Since we started the project last March of this year, my partner in this project and I are happy to let everyone know that we are starting the Second phase of our project in the Philippines. We are helping our Muslim businessmen and businesswomen partners to do basic accounting, inventory and marketing. We will conduct training tomorrow in order for them to improve their businesses.

Another set of loans will be released. The amount of the loans will be based on the amount that going to be stated on their business proposals.

I think especially for people living outside of your corner of the globe there will be interest in learning more about the religious and culture dimensions of your project! Please let us know and maybe this understanding will help the global community to think about how they can contribute to your project.

Mr. MacLean thank you so much indeed with you message. I am also hoping that people will realize that. They should see that putting an interest to any loans is NOT a help to their partners. The Islamic Financing has been practiced Muslims years ago.

The basis of this kind project was from the Qur-an and analysis by Muslim professionals and scholars...

So far, since this is the Islamic Financing project in country we are still studying the behaviour of this ongoing project. 1 year is not enough to study this kind of project.
