African Unemployment Rate, Who's to Blame, Our African Education System Or Lack of Political Will?
Dec 17, 2012

What does our tertiary education system teaches us today? are we taught to find jobs after we graduate or took for jobs as opposed to been entrepreneurs? Or is just lack of political will by our leaders to create deliberate policies that will create opportunities and jobs for graduates and indeed all the youths...whose to blame?
Have your say..

Both the two issues play a role in this problem.Education system in most of african nations are not that of quality level in most parts and most especially with our dynamic world.Political parties formulate policies which they fail or find difficult to implement .Thus the youths end up stuck in this unendless macroeconomic problem

start by asking the question why are pupils still paying school fees or PTA fees in 2013 when we have less than 2 years for the MDGs to be attained?
ask again why are the policy makers changing luxurious cars every year when just 1/4 of the money spent for cars can pay the school fees.
ask again where is the budget of your state go every year.
How many real projects are accomplished
What about the government creating schools without infrastructures or teachers in a community
as again why the educational system of Africa changing to the worst instead of improving.......

Both the education system and the government are to blame for the African Unemployment rate. Students in other African cultures and/or community's don't receive the higher form of education they should, and the governments don't support any laws that keep the school system in check and improving. They just don't put as much pressure on the school system as they should. And if someone doesn't have a proper education it's hard for them to find a good job that they can stay with and grow to the top of. Also most governments don't make new jobs for people to do.
