I firmly believe that fasting is very best way to gain ideal weight.As in this act our body do not get any calories and energy requirement is filled by the storage of the body which is mostly in the form of fat.Thus ultimately causing a weight loss of the body.Fasting is also very helpful to overcome other diseases.

Yes, fasting improves health, its not disputable. but talking about weight loss, fasting can sometimes increase food cravings which is a deteriorating factor to weight loss. Well it also depends on the kind of fasting.

In my opinion fasting is not a good option for the weight loss because it causes the weakness.
Take some weight reduction foods for the weight loss and do some workout to get better results for the weight reduction.

Fasting, altough it may sound effective, will return what's been lost in a Yo-Yo effect, once you decide to stop. Fasting also can cause seriuous damage to our organs, therefore you should be more careful when choosing a diet. Consider Tim Ferriss's Slow-Carb Diet which worked wonders for me smile.

Well if you want to loose weight fast so try to avoid all healthy foods,meat,french fries, burgers, etc. which foods are not good for health, Eat fresh fruits and fresh vegetables, drink one to two liter water every day, drink green tea jasmine 2 cups. Do regular walking at least 36 minutes.

You are aware Muslims go on fasting for at least the month of Ramadan.I have witnessed many who lose weight after a month.

The one month fasting of Muslims is both spiritual and physical. It is obligatory for the healthy and potential people and not weak elders, women on specific conditions (such as pregnancy and breast feeding, etc.).

My family and I eat and drink according to healthy diet set for this month. Although it is hard for the first few days but when we are on the last days of the month, we wish it would never end.

The results are both spiritual and physical. Physically we feel lighter, more comfortable and certainly having less weight.

Fasting is not good method for losing weight. There sources of human energy: glucid(glucose), protid, lipid. Our body use the first as the main supply energy. If you are fasting, your body will run out of glucose and metabolize lipid. As the result you'll lose weight but the worst thing here is when too much fat is metabolized it create aceton acid and acidify your blood and other metabolisms in your body will be effected in medicine it's called ketoacidosis. This disease is life-threatening

Dear Luong Hien,
I am not a physician. I explained my own experience and the experience of those I have closely witnessed. Muslim fasting, as I explained and also gave at least one reference, is carried out for more than fourteen centuries. Besides, similar fasting has been going on by believers of other beliefs.

As I mentioned in my post, fasting is proper only for healthy and potential people.

Well fasting is a good thing for weight loss and no doubt that we can maintain weight and can loss it easily through this technique. it is also good for health and prevents us from many diseases.

Fasting can never make way for weight loss, rather it has got bad effect on our health which makes us eat more then having it earlier. If anyone is really looking forward to loose weight then he/she should follow good diet regime along with exercises like walking,jogging or Yoga to be followed.
