the role of young men promoting gender equality through HIV/AIDS campaigns

Today, on World AIDS Day, I know many people are concerned with how to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and how to care for those people who are living with AIDS. In early March 2004, the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women will be focusing on the role of men and boys in gender equality. As part of the NGO Youth Committee I would like to sponsor a break-out session at the event where youth actively involved in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment programs would be able to share their stories with other NGOs and government officials. Specifically, they should be working on projects that involve young men.
The actions of young men have distinct consequences that need to be accounted for when devising government policies. When they are in positions of power and influence (as in most sexual relationships), young men have major responsibilities that affect other lives.
Is anyone interested in helping to put together such a session? I would need help choosing speakers and defining the topic more closely. If so, please let me know.
