A TIG Bot?

Hi everyone,
I have a suggestion for a new feature on the TIG website.
I have been reading a lot of complaints from people who have had their emails go unanswered or people who are generally overwhelmed by the TIG site. This is obviously not the fault of the admin staff, because the website and membership are huge!
My suggestion is an A.L.I.C.E. bot (http://alicebot.org/). This new form of Artificial Intelligence can engage in conversations with users based on programmed information, and the bots are usually pretty smart about it.
This might add a face to TIG and answer some frequently asked questions about the website (navigation, how to post updates, troubleshooting, etc.). Failing all else, it would just be a fun, interesting tool for TIGgers, and better acquaint them with all the different aspects of the website (a virtual tour guide, if you will).
Another suggestion to possibly improve two-way communication with the website: a ChatterBox (http://chatter.flooble.com/) or a TagBoard (http://www.tag-board.com). I have seen these features used on websites like KungFoo (http://www.kungfoo.com), and they can serve as a fun alternative to chatrooms or forums.
Just some thoughts.

We'er actually working on a really good site map that will help new users figure out what they want from the site.
Most problems in the forums need to be answered personally since every case seems to be different
Emails are received, but with a small staff.. most receive email for upwards of 5 addresses. I don't even really work at TIG and I have mail from 4 accounts forwarded to me
I've seen tags other places but I haven't really found them to be all that good. Most places I visited were full of "yo, I just tagged ya. tag me back" *ahem* I hope our new guide will really help members.
Oh, and another ten staff or so would also be nice
