How to save Environment.
Jun 12, 2012

Hi all,
I found something which may help us to save the environment.
1. Change your light bulbs to compact fluorescent lights (CFLs).
2. Turn down the thermostat on your hot water heater.
3. Turn your thermostat up 2 degrees in summer and turn it down 2 degrees in winter.
4. Turn off lights as you leave a room.
5. Turn off fans when you go out.
6. Weatherstrip & caulk around doors and windows.
7. Buy recycled products.
8. If you have a choice, avoid products with a lot of packaging.

while shopping we can save environment such as:-
Choose paper over plastic, for if you were to ever use a store bag, paper is easier to recycle than
plastic.
Go shopping with a friend, try to use cycle or public vehicle and try to save gas.
Look for green "Environmentally Friendly" tags on the items you buy.
Make a shopping list to avoid buying things that seem appealing but you will likely never use.

Small, sustainable farms conserve water and apply waste and fertilizer to fields responsibly,
minimizing their impact on local water systems. By supporting small farms such as these, you can
help to promote healthier waterways while showing that you do not support the environmental
recklessness practiced by industrial farms.
Visit the Eat Well Guide (http://www.eatwellguide.org/i.php?pd=Home) to find a farm, store or
restaurant near you offering sustainably-raised meat and dairy products. Just enter your zip
code!
Know your farmer. Visit your local farmers’ market or join a CSA (community supported agriculture
group) and start buying from a farm directly. Ask questions and get to know your food and how it is
produced.

The main thing is to be able to live with the environment. That is to keep and preserve it so that
it takes less harms from our life styles. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
